Flower Inspiration: Results!

I know you guys saw my post yesterday and I actually acted on it the day I said I would! This is progress for little miss procrastination polly over here!

Here are a few shots of my beautiful, new creations to be worn on a sash for Jessi's wedding tomorrow!!!! eeeeeeee I'm smiling from ear to ear from their gorgeous-ness!

Flower Inspiration!

I'm feeling crafty and have found some perfect inspiration for my project! This weekend is my biggie's wedding (aka - my big sister in my sorority, Jessi) and I need to make a perfect sash for my dress (tonight!! leave it to me to procrastinate) ! The dress is a gray-ish color so I'm thinking coral and cream would be perfect! Here are a few sources of inspiration for me:

UGLY Bouquets

Dear Canada, can you do ANYTHING right besides play hockey? (and beat us in a few other sports....but that's neither here nor there)


Your 1,800 bouquets that you passed out during the 2010 Winter Olympics were HORRIFIC. As my friend Holly said "you can't pass a man a bouquet of peonies" - but you CAN pass them something that isn't heinous. If I was passed one of those, I wouldn't be thrilled. The medal, however, was beautiful. I'll give that to you.

Next time, although there will probably never be a next time because you managed DEATH in your Olympic games, do better.

one thing i might do to make my mundane office environment more lovely would be to string them on a garland in colors of my office (coffee, merlot, gold, cherry wood, chocolate brown, cream)! see the inspiration below!

2. Red and lavender together. oh how i love you. this room just needs a few more pops of red - perfection.
   
3. This is a cabinet dedicated to sprinkles and fancy dessert decorations - i want it. now.
4. These are just SO pretty - i'd love for these to be hanging from the ceiling at a party or wedding i throw or attend!
5. Champagne diamonds - stacked. i die.

10. E-sessions or love shoots with balloons - so fun and carefree and PERFECT
11. Kitchenaid mixer - dear God, please send me one from above. i'll be good and make plenty of yummy treats. this is #1 on my "things to buy myself" list - need to save up for this pretty machine
12. Wii! My new obsession - i don't know how it took me SO LONG to actually play, but i started over the holiday season (after taking two years to get over my hatred for video games...) and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it! sore arm though....haha
